Growth opportunities On-the-job training Company perks Our company is seeking skilled Fire Sprinkler Technicians to inspect and service residential and commercial fire protection systems.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of the installation and repair of fire detection systems, and will be capable of working independently and making decisions without guidance.
The right candidate will also ideally be available to respond to an emergency when scheduled to be on-call, and will possess the ability to follow work plans and safety standards related to the mechanical industry.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and/or replace fire extinguishers.
Walk around the upper floors of a building to determine if a fire is present.
See if the sprinkler system is operational.
Test and repair backflow devices.
Be able to respond to a fire alarm.
Replace sprinkler heads.
Complete sprinkler pipe repairs.
