Full-time (scheduled 72 hrs or more per pay period) Job Definition Job Description SCOPE OF POSITION The Medical Assistant, Non-Certified will work under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for nursing care patients assigned to that position.
The Medical Assistant should possess a basic knowledge of nursing principals and procedures and demonstrate skills and techniques of good patient care.
As additional duties develop, the assistant should document and update the list of required responsibilities on competency checklist.
The Physician and the Medical Assistant should have a partnership relation that enhances the overall medical treatment of each patient.
This position will demonstrate competency in the care of patients of infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics, age 0 - 100
years old.
This position may assist providers in documenting clinical interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One year of work experience within the medical field, either in a physician's office, clinic, or hospital.
CPR required Compensation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
