The basic duties and responsibilities of a Member Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
Provide members with an excellent service experience every time Provide ACFCU product and service referrals using our benefit statements of Save Time, Save Money, Make Money, Offer Convenience and Peace of Mind Accurately perform general teller duties such as open new member accounts, process member deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, or other transactions by phone or in the branch Resolve member problems and/or complaints or direct to appropriate person Balance cash drawer and perform teller cash recycler duties Maintain working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to financial services Provide Member Service Representative coverage at other branches (Kingsport, Rogersville and Norton, VA) as needed.
Mileage over the normal commute to work is reimbursed.
Education requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; BS degree preferred Experience requirements:
No prior experience is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
