Summary:
The Environmental Compliance Assistant will report directly to Summers-Taylor's lead Environmental Specialist.
The Environmental Assistant will travel to a variety of company job sites / plants and perform a walk-through site inspection.
Upon a thorough evaluation of the sites, necessary repairs, and documentation (TDEC) of findings, will be handled promptly and accurately.
Continuous education courses will be vital to the success of the Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control.
Job Duties:
Traveling to all of Summers-Taylor, Inc.
projects when needed.
Aid in maintaining state stormwater monitoring reports.
Aid in maintaining mobile rock crusher records.
Assist in collecting stormwater samples.
Meet with personnel including TDEC inspectors, project managers, subcontractors, etc.
Manual installation of wood or steel 4 X 4 posts.
Documentation and record keeping.
Additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or above required.
Proficient Office 360 knowledge required.
Ability to read and interpret civil site plants.
Valid Driver's License.
AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, not required.
Ability to lift 50lbs
Required Job Specific Certifications:
Must pass TN Level -1 Erosion and Sediment Control Training Job Type:
